Agas - there are interesting things going on in the Aga world - which will be to your advantage! Read on

Because of this we are trying out something NEW in the cooker business. This is how it works

We are offering you the chance to buy an Aga in 2 different ways

Option (a) basket case. A stripped Aga with all parts there, sold as seen .cost £1500 if you collect. All parts sold after checking but no guarantee on gas parts as we have no way of  connecting or testing them .Cost £1500

Option (B) . The rebuilt Basket case. As above but my friend Andy Cribb of Classic Range Cookers will build the Aga in your kitchen. You prepare the site - a level base, an oil or gas supply pipe, the chimney - all must be ready. Andy is OFTEC / CORGI registered Aga trained installer would rebuild in your kitchen for a further £500 ( minimum, extra for long distance as before, and maybe B& B if required)
He then  commissions it. Cost £2000- £2500 but MAYBE + £500 if  a  new burner in addition if GAS with an early burner type. 4 ovens therefore £3000- £3500. With the new highly efficient Snugburner the cost built would be £3300 - £3800 (2 oven) or £4200 - £5000 for a 4 oven

Option (C) .The full monty. Everything restored, new finish on all enamel parts, door backs, liners, shotblasted ovens, new side and rear panels, burners fully overhauled or replaced. Built and guaranteed. Cost 2 oven Oil or Gas built would be £4000 - £4500 ( £4800 with Snugburner), 4 oven would be £5200 - £5600 ( £6000 with Snugburner) .This option would be carried out by a friend on my behalf.

CREAM 2 oven deluxe Aga- genuine model OC (built for oil) BASKET CASE  £1500 as per option (a) Option (a) A Basket case. Your cooker is supplied in parts but NOT built. All parts are checked over and any parts that require replacement are supplied. This is mainly items that MUST be changed i.e 2 gaskets, some rope seals and the insulation .If a Gas burner ,it will be examined but cannot be guaranteed as its unlikely we will have seen the cooker working prior to it coming to us

The enamel on the top and front and doors will NOT be new but we will accurately describe any chips or damage

The costs of a 2 oven cooker thus supplied will be in the range £1500 - £2000 no vat applied ( margin scheme) subject to model ,colour age and condition. 4 ovens from £2500-£3000 Delivery, in parts, would be £1.20 a mile as measured by www.theaa.com from our Andover, Hants base. You then arrange to install and build the cooker, maybe yourself using my E book ( see www.ebooks-on-howto.com ) or by using a local specialist.
